Biography

The Said Mary Frances Edwards was the child of William Edwards born on c - - 1782 at NC died at Marshall Co MS on 28 - Nov - 1853 and his ( 2nd ) wife Sarah Lockhart born on c - - 1809/10 at VA died at Holly Springs Marshall Co MS on p - - 1862 married on a - - 1838

There is definitely a connection to Caroline Lockhart Edwards It is unclear as to what the relationship is, but there is one.

1.In John Lockhart Sr pension record, there is a letter requesting info on him and a W. Edwards of Roane County, Tennessee...probably Sarah, his daughter's husband William Edward See attachment.

2.Margaret Cox married Thomas Lockhart who died in the Revolution. She then married Robert Everett

3.Your William Edwards was also married to an Everett.
