From the Kansas City Times: A-3D missing. Had been practicing ground control approach landings. went missing on 22 Jan 1959. Aboard were LCDR Lawrence P Morgan, pilot, of Annandale, Michigan, Louis R Lockhart, Aviation Machinist's Mate third class, Sacramento, California, and Wallace C Parker, a civilian technician, of Oxnard, California.
From the Press-Courier: Two services honored the missing men, who were presumed dead. Wreckage was not located. Louis R Lockhart was 20, from Sacramento, and an Aviation Machinist Mate 3rd Class.
