Biography
Jemima Lombard (a.k.a. Lambert or Lumbard) was born about 1636/1637 probably in Watertown, Middlesex, Massachusetts, daughter of Thomas Lombard by his third wife, name unknown. [1]
She married Joseph Benjamin at Barnstable on June 10, 1661.[2] The marriage was recorded in Boston records: "Joseph Benjamine of Bastable & Jemima Lumbard daughter of the late Thomas Lumbard deceased were married 10th June by Richard Bellingham Dep. Gov."[3] Torrey records her as Lumbard or Lombard.[4]
She died about 1666 after the birth of her daughter Jemima[5]
