Biography

There is no mention of Edward Hawes in Massachusetts records prior to his marriage in 1648. His name is next mentioned in 1659, after which time he is mentioned numerous times. He is not mentioned in Anderson's Great Migration Series or "The Great Migration Directory.Watt-266 20:27, 11 September 2017 (EDT)

1648: "Edward Haws & Eliony Lumber, was married the 15 of the 2m^o" at Dedham, Massachusetts.^[1] They had the following children:^[2]

According to the records of Dedham, Edward "Hawse" died on 28 Jun 1686,^[1] however he made his Will on 4 June 1687, and it was entered into probate on 17 Dec 1689, so he probably died in late 1689. His wife "Eleoney Hawes" was alive when he made his Will.^[3]

I can find no evidence for the birth year or birth place of Eliony Lumber/Lombard or for her parents. The birth year of 1625 is an estimate based on her marriage in 1648, but it could have been earlier or perhaps as late as 1630.Watt-266 13:57, 13 September 2017 (EDT)
