Biography

He married Martha Wright on 23 March 1849 in Jefferson County, Tennessee.[1]

He was a farmer when he and Marthat appeared on the census of 24 July 1860 at Liberty, St Francois County, Missouri.[2]

James died on15 Sep. 1898 and was buried at Mountain Valley Cemetery, Mountain Grove, Wright County, Missouri. His memorial has a photo of his headstone recognizing his military service and links to those of family members.[3]
