Detached from Samuel Long as father. He can't possibly be her father, and the birth record (see notes below) can't be for the Anne that married Nicholas Haile. Anne would have been born in the early 1700s. Darlene Athey Hill 30 Jul 20.
This has to be a different Anne Long based on marriage and children.
Anne Long was born 25 Mar 1685, in Marumsco, Somerset, Maryland, British Colonial America, the daughter of Samuel Long and Anne. [2]
Removed after record found "Ann Long was born Ruth Ann Long abt 1700 at Baltimore, Baltimore, Maryland." (Reference not found) [citation needed].
Originally the profile portion above had her dying in 1763 in Somerset, Maryland [across the Chesapeake Bay from Baltimore] which apparently came from an un-sourced findagrave record. There is NO evidence for this; there were other Long families living there.
After Nicholas died, Ann may have married William BANNISTER. [3]

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Ann by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Ann:
Long-8008 and Long-351 appear to represent the same person because: Ann must have been dau of Robert, not Thomas. See my research notes on Robert and Thomas Long
