Biography

Richard was the son of Robert and his second wife, Elizabeth (Unknown) Long

Richard Long, "of Salisbury", married on 21 Jul 1680, Ann French. She was admitted to the Salisbury church on Dec. 18, 1687. He signed petition of 1680; both signed Bradbury petition, 1692.

He was killed by Indians in Amesbury, on the way to Haverhill on 4 Sep 1694, with Joseph Pike; his estate was inventoried est. 25 Sep. 1694.

Widow Ann married in1695/6, Thomas Mudgett; she was living in 1712.
