I added some sources/documentation for your William. Thought he might have been one of mine, but with his father indicated as an immigrant, probably not. My Longs came through in the 1600s from England. :)

PS: I did add the one census resource for slave holder, but I don't know if it is your William. It also looks like he was known as senior himself, at one point in his life, even though he was a junior, indicating he probably had a son also named William. :)
