Biography
Edith was born on 5 April 1915, to John James Long and Isabelle Ann Tease. [1]
In 1920, she was living at 2224 Federal Street, Philadelphia, with her parents and her brother John. She was not yet attending school. [2]
In 1930, she was living at 5431 Paul Street, Philadelphia, with her parents and siblings. She was in school, and was not working. [3]
She finished four years of high school. [4]
On 21 June 1937, she married George H Davies, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. They had three children. [5]
In 1940, she was living at 5839 Cobbs Creek Parkway, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was living with her husband and daughter. They owned the house, which was worth $5300. She was not working, and had not worked in 1939. [6]
She died on 21 December 2004, in Havertown, Delaware, Pennsylvania, USA. On Tuesday, 28 December 2004, she was buried, in Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, Delaware County, Pennsylvania. [7]
