He passed away in 1831.

Research Notes

Adams-16917 13:31, 27 February 2017 (EST) This record shows discrepancy in birth dates 1754 and 1780. There is another Jacob.

However, the Jacob in this profile is recorded as having children, and his first child was christened in 1783, which supports a birth date of 1754 for Jacob, 1780 being impossible given the birth dates of his children. He also could not have married Elizabeth Coole in 1776 if he was born in 1780.

He married Elizabeth Coole on 29 May 1776.[2]

His children are listed on church records from 1783 to 1798. See this source.[3]
