Biography
Rebecca G. Longfellow was born on March 18, 1830, in Northfield, Maine, her father, Mark, was 27, and her mother, Hannah, was 21. She married Stephen Smith on October 9, 1854, in her hometown. They had nine children in 12 years. She died on July 20, 1911, in Marshfield, Maine, having lived a long life of 81 years.
