Lucy C. Lore was the daughter of Ethan and Elizabeth (Chard) Lore. Her middle initial C. is possibly Chard, but it's not known from other records.
Lucy C. Lore married William Husted as a teenager perhaps before 1842 when their first son McKinley is said to be born. They were the parents of eight documented children.
McKinley Husted 1842-1843. He is in a few family trees, but unable to locate sources, was there a Bible record for William and Lucy?
Elisabeth Husted, age 8, was enumerated on the 1870 Census (which did not record relationships) with William and Lucy. She is listed after their youngest daughter Lucy, age 3. Typically family members not in the nuclear family were listed last, but this could also be an error on the census taker's part. There is no birth or death record for an Elisabeth Husted in the New Jersey Births and Christenings index, only a Mary Elisabeth. (Mary E Husted b. 6 Apr 1863 in Cumberland, daughter of David & Elizabeth Husted[1]).
Cumberland County records are incomplete for the pre-1878 period.
