birth noted on death notice as July 30th, 1842. He was a farmer. marriage register with Sarah Cotton notes his birthplace as Chinguacousy, On.

Robert Lowden, son of Thomas and Jane Lowden, born Burford Twp., Brant County, c. 1842. Living in Barton Township Wentworth County at the time of marriage (1866) to Angeline Yeager (daughter of Abraham and Sophia Yeager. 1866. It appears she died prior to the 1881 Census, as he was then married to a "Sarah" (also in the 1891 Census). The 1881 Census lists them living in Barton Twp., and were Methodists. Robert was an Agent. A Robert Lowden filed his will in Wentworth County, Instrument #8661, 1901-1922. Children:

children with Angeline Yeagar: 1) James W., born c. 1866; 2) Sophia, born c. 1868 (Angeline b. 1869 died aged 2 mths. Inflammation of the brain. Glanford)
