Margaret "Jane" Lovelady, daughter of David Lovelady and Dorthy Dolly (Clabaugh) Lovelady, was born about Sep. 1848 in Alabama. She appeared on the census of 5 Dec. 1850 in the home of her parents at Pinetucky, Perry County, Alabama.[1]
She married Lawrence Poole Nichols, son of Arthur Nichols and Mary Ann (Sanders) Nichols, on 28 June 1866 in Perry County, Alabama.[2]
She and Lawrence appeared on the census of 7 June 1880 at Heards, Perry, Alabama.[3] She and Lawrence appeared on the census of 1 June 1900 at Pickensville, Perry, Alabama.[4]
Margaret seems to have died probably in Alabama before Feb. 1908 when Lawrence remarried.
