DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Elizabeth by comparing test results with other carriers of her ancestors' mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Elizabeth:

Do you happen to know of anyone related to the Eliz. Loveless/Thos. Jacob Nabors line who has taken a DNA test? My ancestor, Joseph M Alexander's wife's name was Classinda/Clarinda Nabours (b. 1812, SC). Joseph was the son of Isaac Alexander and Lucy Sadler, who moved with their family to Jefferson Co., AL from NC before 1820. I have as yet been unable to positively connect Classinda to any Nabours family, but suspect Jacob Nabors' family, since they appear on the same census page with Isaac Alexander in 1840, and wid. Elizabeth Nabours (with dau. Isabella) appears one house away from Joseph's mother wid. Lucy (Sadler) [with son Thomas Y. Alexander] in the 1850 census (Joseph's family moved to Pontotoc Co., MS <1850). Also, my dad's DNA matches 7 descendants of Judith (Nabors) Hill.
