Sarah Caroline LOVELESS was born Sep 1859 in Blount, Alabama. She was the daughter of Alfred LOVELESS and Nancy Elmina ROPER and clearly named for her maternal grandmother.
She was enumerated within her parent's household in Blount, AL, in the 1860 Census. She was then shown to be nine months in age and born in Alabama.
Elmina LOVELESS appears to have returned to Pickens, Georgia, following her husband's death and she is enumerated with daughters Caroline and Susan within her parents household in the 1870 Census. Caroline is erroneously shown to be age eight (8) and born in Georgia within that record.
S. C. LOVELESS is shown to have married M. K. BARRETT on 01 Nov 1875 in Pickens, Georgia.
