Biography

Bathsheba was the daughter of Lancaster and Bathsheba Lovett.[1]

She married 1st William Bainard. William died in 1666.

She married 2nd John Ladd. Though there is no current documentation on this profile to support when exactly they were married, The Damron-Dameron Genealogy cites Lancaster Lovett's will in 1672, which indicates that Bathsheba is the wife of John Ladd.[2]. All of Bathsheba's children appear to have the last name of Ladd and not Bainard. However, since three of her children were born before 1666 (when William Bainard died), it is uncertain at this time if all of her children were actually John Ladd's biological children, or if they were adopted by him following their marriage.

Marriage date or 1662 must be wrong if she had six children and died the following year. Or is some other date wrong?
