Rachel is buried 2 miles from my home in St. Albans, Vt. where my grandfather was the Town Clerk for over a decade. I have many Corliss family papers, genealogies, pictures, personal letters, and trinkets handed down by the family.

At first look it appears that the mother of Paulina Skinner was Rachel Lovewell. Paulina named one of her daughters Mary Lovewell Skinner. Paulina's father Mirza did marry Rachel Lovewell and he did have children with her and is buried with her. However, there are also several clues that point towards Mirza having a first wife (either officially or not) who also gave him children, one being this daughter Paulina. The other rumored mother of Paulina is still a mystery for now, but her profile has started with the clues given and with liberty while the mystery is being resolved. If you have any information about this Paulina Skinner's parents, Mirza Skinner, Mary Lovewell/Lovell, or the indian woman Mirza was first with please share it with me. Thank you.
