Biography
Richard Thomas Loving was born circa 1690, some say in Gloucester, Virginia, while others claim in Powhatan, Virginia.
His parents are unknown. There are two sets of proposed parents (neither with sources):
- Charles Loving (abt.1640-abt.1700) and Jennie (Ross) Loving (abt.1642-abt.1698)
- James Loving (bef.1680-abt.1735) and Mary Francis (Blackburn) Loving (1677-1708)
He married Barbara Loving [Foster]. Barbara, daughter of Robert Foster and Elizabeth Foster [Garnett], was born in 1691 in Gloucester, Gloucester, Virginia, United States and died in 1763 in Amelia, Virginia, United States.

Loving-830 and Loving-230 appear to represent the same person because: same name and dates. These are obviously intended to be the same man. Neither profile meets the requirement of pre-1700 Wikitree profiles in that neither one provides a reliable source. Please review and determine parents and add sources. Thanks.
