Joanna Low was born 10 Mar 1669 in Ipswich, Essex, Province of Massachusetts Bay Colony[1]. She was the daughter of Thomas Low and Martha Boreman.
Antipas Dodge and Joanna Low were married at Chebacco, on 24 Jan 1699 (recorded at Ipswich)[2][3][4][5][2][6]. Antipas was the first cousin of Richard Dodge who had married Joanna's sister Martha about 5 years earlier.
After her first husband Antipas Dodge died in about May 1707, (probated was entered on his estate on 5 May 1707 at Ipswich[7]) she married Joseph Hale as her 2nd husband[6]. The Intentions for their marriage were filed at Ipswich on 19 Sept 1708.[4]
