Notes
Elizabeth Lowe Cooper and William Cooper had two sets of twins, in a row. The twins are pictured in the Chicago Herald Tribune, sometime around 1908.
We have a picture of Elizabeth with the gavel, indicating that she served one year as the Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star. Her husband was an engineer and--per family members--a Mason.
Elizabeth's son Shell (James Sheldon Cooper) married an Irish Catholic. Elizabeth was not pleased and disliked her daughter-in-law. She did, however, dote on Shell's eldest son Arthur.
Immigrated 1883; 1900 census. Looks like birthday was in Dec 1869 but month could be Aug.
