Henrietta was born in Switzerland [1] on 18 June 1899. [2] NOTE: Early researches suggested that she was born Henrietta Lowenthal. (Souce is lost). She married as Henrietta Schatz. Her marriage certificate should clarify this.
In 1931 she married in Marylebone, London, Englishman, Cyril Stephen Towers. [3] Their son, Peter, was born 18 Jul 1931.[2]
Henrietta died at home during an air raid on 24 September 1940 protecting nine year old Peter. [4][1] Her death was registered in Brentford. [5] Of the many civilians of the Commonwealth whose deaths were due to enemy action in the 1939-1945 War, the names of some 67,092 are commemorated in the Civilian War Dead Roll of Honour, located near St. George's Chapel in Westminster Abbey, London.
Henrietta was buried at Heston. [6]
