Mary (Lower) Levengood (Bio from Findagrave).

Mary Elizabeth (Ann?) was born to Benjamin and Rebecca Catherine Beckley/Beksley in Crawford Twp., Coshocton Co., OH on July 9, 1824. Her siblings were David Benjamin (Leah Miller), Daniel Benjamin (Leah Good Moore), Isaac Henry (Mary Croft), Jacob Benjamin (Anna Susanna Deetz/Dietz), Rebecca Catherine (Christian Christopher Fisher), Hannah (Died at age 15), Benjamin, Jr (Arminda Ramsey), Mahalah May (Jeremiah Lower - First Cousin!) and Rachael Elizabeth (Jeremiah Howell) Lower. She had two Step Sisters - Sarah Lower Smith & Susanna Lower Smith. Benjamin's first wife had died. Mary Elizabeth was wed to Daniel Clinton Levengood/Leavengood on March 3, 1842 in Coshocton Co., OH. He was born in Union, PA on February 20, 1819 - Both families having migrated to Ohio. His parents were Christian Leavengood & Elizabeth Keiser. Mary & Daniel became the parents of William H, Susannah, Levi A, Phebe Anne, Benjamin Clinton, Daniel J, Sarah M, John E, Mary Elizabeth, Catherine & Isaac N Leavengood. Daniel met his death while serving in the Civil War in Hamburg, Hardin Co., TN. Leaving Mary with quite a brood of children - Isaac having been born 13 May 1862 - Father died 24th of June! He may have been interred in Tennessee as there is no stone for him in this cemetery. There are markers for Mary Elizabeth and Baby Susannah. Mary Elizabeth Lower Leavengood passed on April 3, 1869 at the age of 44yrs 9mo 21 days. Bio by G. Nephew - Peter (Lower Family) Rodgers.
