Biography
Anabel (Lowitz) Tobias, 94, passed away August 18, 2015. Born in New York City, August 10, 1921, she retired to Albuquerque in 1982. Preceded in death by Harold Irving Newman, her husband from 1948 to 1969, and George Tobias her husband from 1973 to 2007. Mother of Jeffrey Newman of Albuquerque, and Keith Newman of Athens Ohio. Anabel was a kind and supportive friend to many loved ones around the United States. Anabel will be remembered for her quick wit, her boundless energy and her gracious spirit. Graveside Service will be Friday, August 21, 2015, 12:00 noon at Fairview Cemetery, 700 Yale Avenue NE.
