John Lowman , son of Edward & Elizabeth , was baptized on the 7th July 1822 at St Cuthbert's Church , Wells , Somerset .

He married Hannah Randall , daughter of Henry Randall , on 2nd Aug 1841 at St Leonard's , Marston Bigot .

In 1851 John was found guilty of Embezzlement by a servant and sentenced to one years imprisonment .

By 1854 Hannah & their 4 surviving children , James , Mary , Charlotte & John were all living "chargeable" to Glastonbury Parish , i.e. they had been deserted by John .
