Biography

James Lowman was born in 1815 in North Carolina, his father, Lewis, was 25 and his mother, Catherine, was 19. He married Mary Barbara Arrowood and they had two children together. He also had one son from another relationship. He died in 1858 in Burke, North Carolina, at the age of 43, and was buried there.
