Catherine Lowrance was born 13 Aug 1742 in Peapack, Somerset, New Jersey.

She was the daughter of Alexander Lorentz Mary Eveland. Catherine had seven siblings. She was the sister of:  :John Lowrance, Peter Lowrance, David Lowrance, Elizabeth (Lowrance) Sherrill, Margaret (Lowrance) Sherrill, Isaac Lowrance and Isabella (Lowrance) Sherrill.

Catherine was the wife of John G Perkins. They were married 1758, in Rowan, North Carolina. She was the mother of Mary (Perkins) Miller and Ephraim Perkins.
