Robert Lowthroppe, AKA various spellings incl. Lowthropp, Lothropp, Lathropp, Lathrap, Lothrop
Origin
Robert is assumed to be a son of John Lowthroppe born c. 1513 at Harthill Wapentake, East Riding, Yorkshire, England.[1]
Marriage and Children
Robert married to Ellen, assumed to be Ellen Aston, daughter of Thomas Aston, from Fole or Checkley in Staffordshire.[1] Circumstantial evidence is the mention of Richard Ashton (Aston) in both the wills of Robert and Ellen.[1] Robert and Ellen lived at Cherry Burton Par., East Riding, Yorkshire, England. They had four known children: three sons and a daughter.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Robert by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Robert:
Lathrop or Lowthrop-1 and Lowthropp-16 appear to represent the same person because: Clear duplicate should be merged into Lowthropp to remove the Lathrop or Lowthrop which should not be in LnaB
Lowthropp-16 and Lothrop-79 appear to represent the same person because: These appear to be the same person. Same parents and wife. Yes DOB and DOD do not match, but all else does
