Biography
Thomas was born in England.[1]
Thomas arrived in 1656 in Plymouth, Massachusetts[2]
Thomas had a son named Benoni.[1][3]
Thomas was arrested, imprisoned and whipped at the post multiple times due to drunkeness. [4]
"He died as he lived, and on 6 January 1678/79 a coroner's jury reported that Thomas Lucas, "being very ancient & decrepid in his limbes, and it being very cold, and haveing drunk some drinke, gott a violent fall into a ditch, in a very dangerous place, could not recover him-selfe, but bruised his body, and lying all night in the cold, so hee came by his end." When he died, some of the color must have gone out of Plymouth." [4]
His inventory was taken on 15 January 1678 and recorded at Plymouth.[5]
