Harry enlisted in the Australian Army at Kingsford on 9th February 1942 and served in Port Moresby per the USS Transport Ship Henry T. Allen was discharged on 14th October 1944 from the 133 General Transport Company, 2 Aust Corps. Further reading on the Henry T Allen.
Harry died[5] 23rd September 1984 at Concord Repatriation Hospital and was cremated at Northern Suburbs Crematorium 26th September 1984 where his ashes are interred alongside his wife Lily.
Death and funeral notices[6] appeared in the Sydney Morning Herald on 31st December 1976.
