MARRIAGE. PIPER-LUDLOW. ON Wednesday 23rd inst., John D. Piper was married to Annie Levina Ludlow, at St Barnabas' Church, West Wyalong, by the Ven. Archdeacon Neild. The bride was given away by her brother, Mr S. Ludlow, while Miss Elsie Thompson, of 'Fairview' acted as bridesmaid, and Mr Les Fealey carried out the duties of groomsman. After the ceremony, the guests adjourned to the home of Mr W. Fealey jnr., where the wedding breakfast was laid, and where the usual toasts were honoured. The Bride's dress was of cream Russell silk, trimmed with cream silk insertion, and cream silk lace, and orange blossoms. She carried a shower bouquet, the gift of the bridegroom, and wore the usual veil and wreath. The bridesmaid (Miss Elsie Thompson) wore cream silk muslin, trimmed with cream silk insertion and lace hat to match, also bouquet of pink roses, gift of the happy bridegroom. The Bride's travelling dress was of silver grey poplin chiifoni trimmed with silk insertion, and silyer tassels and white hat.
