Biography
His mother was Clara Fieker Ludwig who passed away when he was 2 years old. His stepmother Minnie Brink Ludwig is listed on his Death Certificate as his mother. However Minnie did not marry Theodore Ludwig until 1906, 3 years after Sylvester was born. Clara Fieker Ludwig's obituary also states she had a son with Theodore Ludwig.
