Pierre married Marguerite del Balzo (des Baux), daughter of Francesco I del Balzo (des Baux), 1st Duke of Andria and his 3rd wife, Sueva Orsini, on 8 May 1405. They had 9 children:[2]

He died of the Bubonic Plague on 31 August 1433 at the Chateau de Rambures, Picardie, France, and was buried at the Abbey of Cercamp, Artois, Pas-de-Calais, France. His wife survived until 1469. She was born in 1394 at les Baux (le Balzo) in Provence.
Ancestor of John Alston of North Carolina and possibly ancestor of Grace Newton (Elizabeth Willoughby).

He married before 1475 Joan (or Jane) Wydeville, daughter of Richard Wydeville, K.G., 1st Earl Rivers, Constable of England, Lord High Treasurer, by Jacquette, daughter of Pierre de Luxembourg, Count of Saint-Pol sur Ternoise, Artois, France, and Brienne (in Champagne). She was the sister of Queen Elizabeth Wydeville, wife of King Edward IV of England. They had no issue.

John Grey, Knt., son of Elizabeth Ferrers, by Edward Grey, Knt., born about 1432. He married about 8 Jan. 1454/5 Elizabeth Wydeville, eldest daughter of Richard Wydeville, L.G., 1st Earl Rivers, Constable of England, Lord High Treasurer, by Jacquette, daughter of Pierre de Luxembourg, Count of Saint-Pol, Conversano, and Brienne. She was born about 1437. They had two sons, Thomas, K.G., K.B. and Richard, Knt. Sir John Grey was slain on the Lancastrian side at the 2nd Battle of St. Albans 17 Feb. 1460/1.
