She was contracted to marry Matthew Stewart 1471 and such marriage may have occured before 13 Jun 1480.[2]
She married James Stewart of Blackhall bef 15 Apr 1491.[3]
Research Notes
Douglas asserts that the mother was Elizabeth, daughter of Archibald, 4th earl of Angus and that Margaret Houston had no children.[4] He also asserts that her husband was James Stewart of Blackhall.
The question of the marriage to Matthew Stewart is treated in "The Lyles of Renfrewshire".[3]
