Daniel was born on 6 June 1702 in Woodstock, Windham, Connecticut. He was the son of William Lyon and Deborah Colburn.^[1][2]

Daniel died (age 64) on 3 March 1767 in East Woodstock, Woodstock, Windham, Connecticut, British Colonial America.^[3] He is buried in the East Woodstock Cemetery in Woodstock, Windham County, Connecticut.^[4]
