Biography
Susanna Lyon was born about 1706. Susanna is the child of Ebenezer Lyon and Elizabeth Winans. [1]
Susanna married David Morehouse Morehouse-700
David Morehouse's will was dated 15 June 1739: David Morehouse of Elizabethtown New Jersey, carpenter, named wife Susanna and children Phebe, Hannah, Johannah, Abigail David all under age. Proved 24 Dec 1739. Exe. friends Matthias Hetfield (Hatfield) and John Ogden.[2]
8 Oct 1776 Susanna Morehouse of Elizabethtown NJ wrote her will, proved 21 June 1777. Left her homestead of 12 acres to daughter Abigail. Named grandchildren Mary Hardey and Joseph T Hardey to have land of 25 acres joining that of Samuel Lyon. Other granddaughter Abby Morehouse, Hannah, Elizabeth, Johanna, and Rhoda Baldwin, children of Jonas Baldwin. Also named a son Ebenezer Wade. Exe. daughter Abigail, and friends Samuel Lyon and John Potter. Lib. 19 page 198. [3][4]
