Biography

James Wittit Lyon (c.1791-1861) of Miserden Park in the county of Gloucestershire, was described on the census records as both a banker & a solicitor.
On the 22 Mar 1825 he married Emma Dalton in Saint James church, Westminster, London, England.
He died aged 70 in 1861 at Miserden Park, Gloucestershire.

The Rev. Edward Reed, husband of Barbara Sandys, daughter of Sir Edwin Sandys, bought Miserden Park estate in 1833 and sold it in 1839 to James Wittit Lyon.
