Probate

Obadiah Lyon of Plymouth, yeoman died intestate and on 6 March 1786, Obadiah Lyon of Halifax was granted the administration of his estate.^[5]

His inventory was taken on 25 April 1786 in Plympton. His estate was represented as insolvent.^[6] In 1787, a list of claims and creditors was recorded.^[7]

In 1788, an account of his estate by Obadiah Lyon was recorded which included doctor bills, loss in securities, and administration fees.^[8]
