Biography

Fannie L. was born April 30, 1870 in Transylvania County, North Carolina to father Lenord Lyons and mother Elizabeth Nicholson.^[1]

Fannie M Lyon was enumerated as daughter at Catheys Creek, Transylvania County, North Carolina for the June 10, United States Census, 1880. She was noted as born 1871 in North Carolina and single as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are self William L Lyon, wife Elisabeth C Lyon, daughter Selena A Lyon, son James W Lyon, daughter Maggie D Lyon and son Oscar H Lyon.^[2]
