Gertrude was the second of four known children born to Arnold Lütz and his wife wife Christina Engelskirchen in Niederholtorf, then likely in the Electorate of Cologne, and now in the Beuel district of Bonn, on the east side of the Rhine.
She married Christian Bahn about 1729 and they are the parents of four known children, born between 1730 and 1740.[1]
Researcher Bernd Schumalski identified two daughters named Gertrude in this family, each marrying men named Bahn, and having children about the same time but not in the same years. Further clarification is needed. Could they be the same person?'
