Biography
Melissa Jane Macdonald was born on December 31, 1851, in Northumberland, New Brunswick, Canada, her father, David, was 30, and her mother, Emily, was 20. She married Samuel B. Fox on August 23, 1871, in Houlton, Maine. They had eight children in 17 years. She died on June 25, 1918, in York, New Brunswick, Canada, at the age of 66, and was buried there.[1]
