Dolly MacDonald, daughter of "Iain Og" was married to Neil Kennedy of Port Ban, Inverness on July 31, 1877. Their family was: Elizabeth (died at the age of 4), John Alex, Daniel, Angus Allan (first to be killed in the Inverness coalmines, 1901), Mary Catherine, and Elizabeth Anne.
