Gillemichael (MacDuff) MacDuff Mórmaer of Fife is a member of Clan MacDuff.
Gillemichel MacDuff
Mormaer Gille Míchéil, (d bef Jul 1136) is the second man we know for certain to have been Mormaer of Fife from 1130 to 1133, although it is unlikely he actually was the second. He had at least one son, called Aed (=Hugo). Aed would have succeeded Donnchad I under a Celtic system, but as feudal rules of primogeniture came into force during the reign of Donnchad I, it was Donnchad's son, and not Gille Míchéil's, who became the next mormaer. Aed, though, probably succeeded to the leadership of Clann Duib, at least during Donnchad I's minority, and certainly became lay abbot of the monastery of Abernethy, an office which his own son, Orm, later inherited.
Note: Gillemichael succeeded Constantine as Earl of Fife. On that basis alone Gillemichael is presumed to be the son of Constantine, but their actually blood relationship, if any at all, is unknown.
Gillemathil, Earl of Fife, was also called Gille Míchéil, Mormaer of Fife.

not that I know of. the names suggests that Gillemichel (MacDuff) is son of Duff and Duff McEth is son of Heth. But it appears that someone postponed the merge, so it's no longer urgent.
Are there any better sources for the information? Duff (on Wikitree) is the son of Heth, ie Gillemichel (according to what you're recommending) is Heth's grandson as opposed to son...
Hi! OK if I keep the parents of MacDuff-15 in the merge? It seems like the parents attached to this profile (Heth MacCrinan and Tul of Moray) are not the right ones (text says "Father: Duff MacEth 2nd Earl of Fife b: ABT 1078 in Methil, Fifeshire, Scotland", which matches with father attached to MacDuff-15 (Moray-48).
