Note NI25065
My GG grandmother was Helen McGregor, grand-daughter of James McGregor and Margaret Allan, who married 1766.
She had 5 children and died in 1842 and her husband was left to raise the children on his own. There is a sundial (with 2 rims from the first side-driven reaper which her husband built after using the first stripper which John Ridley built) She was buried on the property (now a park) in Mt Barker, South Australia. There were an Andrew and a Lachlan McFarlane living there and he built the first stone house in the district for one of them. S.A. was not settled until Dec 1836.
