Margaret was born in 1813 to Donald MacKay and Mary MacKenzie. She married Alexander Henderson July 17, 1834 and had 8 children (see Alexander's profile). Margaret died Feb. 25, 1854 and was burie at Seafoam Cemetery, Pictou Co., Nova Scotia
