Biography
Charles was born on 28 December 1852 at Portobello in Scotland. He was the son of Evan Murray Macgregor and Sophie Mary Ann Collier. [1]
Charles Frederick Murray Macgregor, 28 years old of Queenstown, married Mary Douglas Crossman, 22 years old of this parish, on 31 August 1880 at the Trinity Church in Port Elizabeth, Cape Province, South Africa. Charles was an Ostrich Farmer. [2]
In 1901, the Murray Macgregor family were back in UK living at Stanley Hall in King Stanley, Gloucestershire. [3] [4]
