• Emily was born on the 30th of Dec 1838, at Balquhidder, Perthshire, Scotland.^[1] She was the daughter of Sir John Athol Bannatyne Mac Gregor of Mac Gregor, 3rd Bt. and Mary Charlotte Hardy.^[2]

• Emily married William David Murray, Viscount Stormont, son of William David Murray, 4th Earl of Mansfield and Louisa Ellison, on 6 August 1857, at Westminster, London, England.^[3][4]

• Emily died on the 9th of April 1919.^[5][6]
