Biography

William Munro Mackay, son of John MacKay and Marion Munro, was born on September 24, 1860, in East Nissouri Township.

He married Margaret (Maggie) McKellar on February 6, 1895, in Woodstock, Ontario. He and Maggie raised their family on the Mackay farm, lot 5, concession 13, in E. Nissouri.

William died on October 15, 1946, in Oxford, Ontario, at the age of 86, and was buried in Zion Hill Cemetery, Three Bridges, Middlesex County, Ontario.
