Nantucket Founders and Descendants
Mary (Macy) Bunker descends from Thomas Macy, a Nantucket founder.

Mary Macy was born in 4 December 1648 in Salisbury, Essex, Massachusetts to Thomas Macy and Sarah Hopcot. Mary’s two older sisters were Sarah (died young) and Sarah. She had two younger brothers, Thomas and John, and a younger sister, Bethia. Mary married William Bunker 11 April 1669 in Nantucket, Massachusetts. William was baptized 17 June 1648 in Tingrith, Bedfordshire, England, the son of George Bunker and Elizabeth (Godfrey) Bunker. Mary died 10 March 1729 in Nantucket, Massachusetts.
