Madden, Eugene J. "Gene" age 70 of St. Louis Park, passed away on September 1, 2014, surrounded by family. Survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Meg; children, Molly (Jason) Wahlgren, Meaghen (Michal) VanDyke, Matthew (Emily) Madden; grandchildren, Fiona, Patrick, Wyatt, Grier, and Declan. Gene was very family oriented. He loved to spend time with his family attending sporting events, theatrical productions and going on adventures with Meg. He was a very proud friend of Bill W. for the past 5 years. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Friday, September 5 with visitation beginning at 9:30 AM at the Church of St. Thomas the Apostle, 44th and Upton Ave S, Mpls. Private interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Diabetes Association. www.Washburn-McReavy.com Edina Chapel.[1]
